Building a Second Cortex: Run in Parallel
I started Run in Parallel because our minds don’t work one thought at a time—so why should our technology? What began as a vision for something beyond another AI assistant is becoming a personal cognitive operating system: a second cortex that listens, sees, remembers, learns, and works alongside you in real time. Instead of waiting for prompts, Run in Parallel understands your context, connects ideas, preserves what matters, and helps you think and act without breaking your flow. It’s not about replacing the human mind. It’s about giving your mind the ability to run in parallel.
“While others are still discussing the virtues of AI in all aspects of design, Allan has already mastered it.”
“Design by Allan” is absolutely outstanding for all your digital design needs. I approached lead, Allan Portera for a brand refresh and he jumped right in- revising my logo, modernizing my look and completely updating my brand. He was always in communication with me and 100% open to client input. My new and improved website was up and running flawlessly in record time. I have know Allan professionally for a while and can attest to his bottomless well of creativity and inspiration. I have always known his design work to be light-years ahead of the crowd. While others are still discussing the virtues of AI in all aspects of design, Allan has already mastered it. He is also so efficient, he was able to provide a top-flight site while keeping cost within my range. My overall experience with “Design by Allan” has been flawless and I look forward to working with this company again in the future. They have my highest recommendation.
